NOTE
Prior to connecting the tap to water supply, rinse the pipes of the water supply system well in order to clean out the accumulated sediments (it is especially important when connecting to a new water supply system). After connecting the tap to water supply, gradually open the water supply valve and check, whether all connections of the tap are sealed and not leaking. Then test the tap and all its functions. We recommend entrusting the installation of the tap to professionals.
Cleaning and maintenance recommendations
The main advantages of AQUASANITA taps are practical design, convenient control and reliable parts. All AQUASANITA taps have brass bodies and ceramic cartridges. Advanced coating technology protects SILICSANA tap surfaces from scratching and spalling. Tap aerators save water and reduce energy consumption. To ensure proper care of the tap, please remember that taps are produced using dierent materials and have dierent surfaces that react to household detergents dierently. Clean the tap with liquid detergents of neutral pH or a soapy solution. Rub the detergent on the surface, rinse it with warm water and dry it out. To avoid lime deposits and scratching, use only soft cloths or sponges for cleaning. From time to time, clean the chrome surface with specialized detergents, which remove stains and add gloss. From time to time, clean the coated tap surfaces with low concentration scouring milk without abrasive particles, rinse and dry out. Clean lime deposits around nozzles using a small brush and special detergents containing a vinegar solution. Do not use acid, chlorine or alcohol based detergents, because they may stain and damage the surface. Clean or replace the aerator lter on a regular basis.
