Classic AISI 316 water-heated towel warmers are made of AISI 316L stainless steel and are designed for heating and domestic hot water (DHW) systems. Thanks to its molybdenum content, AISI 316L has higher corrosion resistance compared with AISI 304/304L and is better suited for prolonged contact with continuously renewed water. The increased resistance of the steel provides additional protection under demanding operating conditions.

NB! Despite the increased corrosion resistance of AISI 316L, when used in a domestic hot water system, grounding requirements must still be followed to protect against electrolytic corrosion.

Grounding: when connected to a domestic hot water system, the towel warmer itself must be connected by a separate wire to the protective earth of the electrical system (PE — for example, via the nearest grounding point); grounding only to a water or heating pipe is not sufficient. This is necessary to protect against electrolytic corrosion.

Warranty: 2 years. (In the case of an open water system, the warranty is valid only if such local grounding is provided)
